Ozonated water does something most cleaning products cannot. It cleans and sanitises the surface, then turns back into ordinary water. Nothing to rinse off. Nothing to store. Nothing to throw away. The Tersano LotusPro V9 fits on the wall and turns mains water into ozonated water on demand, using an SAO24 or SAO4 cartridge. Housekeeping fills a bottle or a machine and cleans. The iClean Mini and iClean Flo are handheld and in-line versions of the same thing.
Tersano is officially recognised as a disinfectant in the United Kingdom and Canada. Those recognitions are held in those countries. Here we describe it as a cleaner and sanitiser.

SG-WDS and SG-WDS/ICE
Installed in your cold water line, the SG-WDS produces powerful ozonated water every time you switch on the tap. Used in commercial kitchens to clean and sanitise foods, cutting boards, knives, etc.Â
It’s ozonated water is 3,000 times more powerful than chlorine, leaves no residue on your foods, and doesn’t change the color, taste, or texture of the food. It kills germs, bacteria and other dangerous food borne pathogens to assure the safety of the food you serve to your customers.
The SG-WDS/ICE is a smaller version of the WDS, and is installled in the cold water line feeding your ice machine. It kills the biofilm build-up inside your ice maker, and purifies the water – assuring that your ice is crystal clear, pure and tasteless.

How Ozonated Water Works- How Tap Water Becomes a Cleaner
It’s very simple…Ordinary tap water goes in one side. Inside the machine it passes an ozone cel that infuses the water with ozone.
You fill a bottle, a bucket or a scrubbing machine and clean with it as normal.
Afterwards the ozone reverts and you are left with plain water. There is nothing to rinse off and nothing to dispose of.
That is the whole process. No mixing, no measuring, no chemical store.
Questions and Answers
Does ozonated water leave anything behind?
No. It turns back into ordinary water. Nothing is left on the surface, which is why it suits food areas and anywhere people touch.
How long does the Tersano SAO water stay active?
There are two answers, because sanitising and cleaning are different jobs.
With an SAO-24 cartridge: sanitises for up to 24 hours, cleans for up to 6 days.
With an SAO-4 cartridge: sanitises for up to 4 hours, cleans for up to 3 days.
That is what the stabiliser cartridge is for. Without it, ozone in water is gone in minutes. Fill at the machine at the start of the round and use it through the shift.
Will it replace all our cleaning chemicals?
Up to 80% of the everyday ones. Heavy degreasing and specialist jobs will still need a proper product.Â
Is it safe around food?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons commercial kitchens use it. There is no chemical residue on a food preparation surface, so there is nothing to rinse off before the surface goes back into use.
Do I need to rinse afterwards?
No. There is nothing to rinse off.
That saves water, and it saves time on a cleaning round. A housekeeper is not going back over the same surface twice.
Does it work on grease?
For everyday kitchen cleaning, yes. For heavy baked-on grease, no — you still want a dedicated degreaser for that.
What is the difference between the LotusPro and the SG-OzPAK?
The LotusPro fits on the wall and fills bottles, buckets and scrubbing machines.Â
The SG-OzPAK is worn on the back and jet sprays directly onto the surface. It goes where a trolley will not fit — toilets, stairwells, bin areas, back corridors.
Many buildings use both. The LotusPro for the routine round, the OzPAK for everywhere awkward.
Is it safe for my cleaning staff?
Yes, and it is one of the main reasons buildings switch. There is no concentrated chemical to decant, no mixing, no fumes in a confined bathroom, and nothing that burns skin if it splashes.
No protective gear needed, and many housekeeping staff report that their hands now are softer.. no more cracking from chemicals.
It also means no chemical store to keep locked, and no COSHH paperwork for products you no longer buy.
How long does a cartridge last, and what happens when it runs out?
An SAO-24 cartridge produces 3,000 litres of ozonated water. An SAO-4 produces 5,000 litres.
How long that lasts depends entirely on how much you clean. A busy hotel gets through a cartridge far faster than a small office.
The machine tells you when the cartridge is running low, and changing it is a straightforward swap taking just 90 seconds.
