AT Fresh in Singapore wanted to be sure that all of their cut vegetables were free of pesticides and dangerous food pathogens such as E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria. Food safety was extremely important to them, as was the quality, flavour and texture of their vegetables.
Chemical washes, chlorine solutions can change the colour, taste and texture of many vegetables, and also will leave a residue on the foods. Ozonated water is pure, green and does not change the foods in any way. It also is completely environmentally safe, as the ozone that is dissolved into the tap water by the ozone cell inside the CDS-2TAP simply reverts back to plain oxygen in about 15-20 minutes.
AT Fresh installed our Model SG-CDS-2TAP Ozonated Water Generator which is capable of supplying up to 4000 liters/hr of ozonated water containing a dissolved ozone concentration of up to 4 ppm.
The SG-CDS-2TAP provides this ozonated water on demand to 2 individual taps in their processing facility. When ozonated water is needed, all they have to do is open the tap.
The effective pathogen kill rate for our ozonated water, with a short 30-60 second wash time is 99.999% with an ozone concentration of 2.0 ppm or greater.
